I believe photography has very little to do with the things you see, but more to do with the way you see them. Photography has taught me that life is beautiful, love is joyful, and happiness is contagious. My job as your photographer is to preserve the moments you never want to let go.

About Gabby

I had never really lived in one place for more than a couple of years. The answer to the question, "Where are you from?" was always carefully worded. "I was born in California." Or "I just moved from…" There are things in life that take time to appreciate and I can remember not always loving it. And now, I am truly grateful for how it has shaped me. My husband is the exact opposite. He has a hometown where he graduated high school with childhood friends, knowing every street and watching every change. I think that is part of the reason we’re attracted to each other. One yearning for roots, and the other for branches, finding them within each other. Finding in each other a home and an adventure. It is hard to remember who I was before him and hard to imagine my life without him. When I think of him... I smile, I cry, I laugh. This is what makes me feel alive.

My philosophy

I believe in love. I believe love can make us braver than we ever thought, bring us to new places and open us up to new experiences, and I believe that it changes and grows over time. I believe that love has many different emotions, from joyful and fun, to simple and quiet. Marriage to me means learning and growing together, unconditional love— a safe place to fail, change, and grow. It means living life to the fullest with endless adventure and possibilities.

Love at first sight and my constant reminder to live life to the fullest.

The one I choose completely and forever. I met him at a baseball game and it was an unforgettable moment. We've traveled the world together, we tried new and sometimes scary things together. We've laughed together, and cried together. We've learned and grown together, and loved so deeply. More in love him fifteen years later.

SAN DIEGO

A four-legged friend who brings so much laughter to our home.

My dad was in the US Navy and I lived coastal most of my childhood. For me, the sound of the ocean is one of the most soothing.

ZION NATIONAL PARK

The amazing view from Angels Landing. Travis is definitely the more fearless of the two of us, but I did this and it was worth mustering the courage.

PHILIPPINES

I love that traveling opens you up to a new way of living and being. Experiencing new connections with people, places, and cultures. The Milford Sound is one of the most breath-taking sights I've seen.

This is where my parents grew up. A land that I am getting to know more now as an adult. We've visited a couple times and have taken Grey and would love to keep visiting in the future.
